The story begins in 2010 in Aix-en-Provence. At the time, aix&terra is a small grocery store.
When they first discover it, Marina and Richard Alibert enter a colourful and fragrant shop.
Richard, born in Marseille and grandson of a grocer, finds the warm atmosphere of the Provencal counter and the smells of his childhood; Marina, from Barcelona in Spain, the sunny gaiety of the South.
Love at first sight
The couple has just left Paris to settle in Mirmande, in the Drôme Provençale. For several years now, they have renovated an old bastide and have fallen in love with the region, its agricultural traditions and its gourmet and convivial art of living.
A first product manufacturing workshop is built on the estate before giving birth to the small Manufacture, its 53 recipes and its first restaurant in 2015 in Saulce-sur-Rhône.
In 2019, the grocery tables of Marseille, Nice and Romans will follow... The Provencal brand and restaurant chain aix & terra was just born!
Behind the large bay windows of the Atelier, discover the work of the jam makers, at work from morning to night.
